In a Space Outta Delight: Live from Royal Albert Hall

Presented by Nightmares on Wax and Warp
£15
Hyde Park Picture House
A packed crowd at the Royal Albert Hall with a stage full of dancers and musicians lit by hazy golden lights.

In March 2026, Nightmares On Wax performed at the Royal Albert Hall to mark two landmark anniversaries. Producer George Evelyn re-imagined his albums In a Space Outta Sound (20th anniversary) and Smokers Delight (30th anniversary) in a one-night special show.

The performance featured a full live band, string quartet, choir, guest vocalists and surprise collaborators, brought together with striking visual and sonic production. The resulting two-part concert film, In a Space Outta Delight, was directed by Pedro Takahashi and produced by Friend. Part 1, Smokers Delight, premieres on 30 July, and Part 2, In a Space Outta Sound, on 2 August – exclusively on YouTube.

Ahead of the YouTube premiere, here in Evelyn’s hometown of Leeds, we will host a one-night-only special premiere event on Sat 25 July.

Nightmares On Wax became one of the most influential and genre-defining acts to emerge from the UK. As Warp Records’ longest-serving artist, his unique blend of dub, soul, hip-hop, electronica, and sound-system culture helped shape an entire generation of music lovers. From early underground classics like A Word of Science to the defining chill-out masterpiece Smokers Delight, his work has inspired everyone from DJs and beatmakers to festival curators and sonic explorers across the globe.

In a Space Outta Delight is a celebration of legacy and musical freedom – one night honouring the past, present and future of Nightmares On Wax, in the city where it all began.
