Join Our Team

When we come together, extraordinary things happen. Each of us brings something different, and it’s in that mix of skills, perspectives and passions that real impact is made. Join us, and play your part in shaping something special.

Our Commitment

Leeds Heritage Theatres’ success and our ability to fulfil our charitable aims is dependent on the people who choose to join our team. Whether you are just starting out or if you have decades of experience under your belt, we are looking for people who want to help us to succeed and who, in turn, will find our team to be a safe and supportive environment in which to flourish.

We actively promote equality of opportunity for all with the right mix of talent, skills, and potential, and welcome applications from a wide range of candidates. We are committed to promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Therefore, all appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and relevant roles will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Recognising that the cultural sector, including our organisation, has a great deal of work to do  to become truly equal, we are in the process of reviewing our recruitment policies and procedures. This process involves trialling different approaches to recruitment to inform our learning. If the recruitment procedure for any individual role is different to the one laid out in our Recruitment Pack this will be included in the advert for that role.

Importantly this work to improve our approach to recruitment sits as part of the wider development of an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy for our organisation. This strategy recognises that simply welcoming new voices into our team is only ever part of the journey to change and grow.

Company benefits

All team members enjoy the following company benefits:

  • Generous average salary pension scheme, plus health and sickness benefits
  • Regular staff offers and discounts for our own venues and local businesses
  • Free to use Employee Assistance Programme that supports your health and wellbeing
  • Personnel investment and training

Any additional role specific benefits are included in the job description.
