Leeds Grand Theatre will reopen on Thursday 17 June 2021 with socially distanced live performances. We have done everything we can to make our venue COVID-secure, and your visit a safe and enjoyable experience.

Getting here and parking

The Grand is located on New Briggate in the heart of Leeds city centre.


Parking is available at several city centre car parks near the venue.

  1. Q-Park St Johns
  2. Q-Park The Light
  3. NCP The Core
  4. Q-Park Albion Street
  5. Templar and Edward Street
  6. Victoria Gate Multi Storey

Public Transport

Leeds Grand Theatre is around 10 minutes’ walk from Leeds bus station and 15 minutes’ walk from Leeds train station. Buses to the centre also stop nearby on The Headrow, Vicar Lane and Boar Lane, all of which are within 5-10 minutes’ walk of the venue.

Blue Badge Parking

All the car parks listed above have provision for Blue Badge holders. In addition, there are on-street parking bays for Blue Badge holders across Leeds city centre.

Eating and drinking

  • Enjoy a pre-show or interval drink in one of our historic bars, located on most levels. Our bars open one hour before the performance, serving draught and bottled beer, a good selection of spirits, wine, soft drinks, and tea and coffee.
  • Drinks can be taken into the auditorium to enjoy during the performance but must be decanted into plastic cups.
