A younger man in a hoodie smiles with an older woman in glasses and a floral knitted jumper who laughs as they walk along a street.

I Swear is a frank, funny and touching story based on the life of Tourette syndrome campaigner John Davidson.

Davidson grew up in 1980s Scotland and was diagnosed with Tourette’s at a time when it was little known and generally misunderstood. I Swear captures the challenges Davidson faced whilst also celebrating the beautiful and impact of both supportive friends and community along the way.

Our special preview screening of I Swear on Thu 2 October will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Kirk Jones (Waking Ned, Nanny McPhee). The film will open for a full run from Fri 10 October.
