Our cinema team has been able to achieve so much more this year thanks to The Picture House Project and we wanted to mark this anniversary with a thank you to everyone who worked on the project and everyone who has supported us in our reopening year!

Our picture perfect Picture House
The Picture House Project has been hugely transformative and we can’t thank the team that worked on it enough. We’re so pleased that the impact of the project has recently been acknowledged as HPPH won the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors regional award for Community Benefit and we won a gold award in the Retrofit category at the Scottish Design Awards. Hopefully, you have felt some of the benefits of the project first-hand through visits to the cinema, but if you haven’t been yet, we’d love to welcome you!
We wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the last year at Hyde Park Picture House, show off some stats we’re really proud of and showcase our beautiful cinema with new images captured by the brilliant Jim Stephenson.

Donations will support the ongoing maintenance of HPPH, including continuing to work with outside specialists to keep our building in great shape, investing in training to allow us to continue to learn about how best to work with a historic building and investment in the technology we use to continue to make the building truly work for all the different members of the community who need us.
