Rebekah Hughes: Musical Director

Rebekah is looking forward to returning to Leeds for her third year on the panto and working in her native ‘God’s Own Country’ for Christmas!

Recent Musical Director credits include: One Man, Two Guvnors (New Vic Theatre); The Great Gatsby (Chester Storyhouse); The Card, (Claybody/ New Vic Theatre); Jack & The Beanstalk (New Wolsey Theatre); Pride & Prejudice, (Chester Storyhouse); Brassed Off (New Vic Theatre); Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Jack And The Beanstalk, The Ruck, Cinderella (Lawrence Batley Theatre); Frankenstein (Living Spit/Salisbury Playhouse); Digging In (Claybody Theatre); Mother Goose, Dick Whittington (Salisbury Playhouse); Broken Time (Three Stones Media) and Oliver Twist (Bolton Octagon).

She was also MD for Northern Broadsides for 12 years. Shows include: Much Ado About Nothing, Hard Times, Cyrano & The Winter’s Tale, and A Grand Gesture. Rebekah has also been Resident Musical Director for Mikron Theatre Company since 2001. Alongside her theatre work, she regularly gigs with ‘The Gelatos’ and MD’s Manchester choir ‘Artful Voices’.
