As a booker of Fat Friends – The Musical at Leeds Grand Theatre in February/March 2022, we regret to inform you that, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, the difficult decision has been taken to postpone the current tour and alternative dates sourced. Please see below a statement from Kay Mellor and the producers:

We regret to inform you, that due to recent and ongoing Covid-19 related events, and their direct and detrimental impact on the production of Fat Friends – The Musical, this show has sadly had to postpone its scheduled performances at Leeds Grand Theatre from 22 Feb – 5 March 2022, and we are now looking in to rescheduling the production with alternative dates. 

We were very much looking forward to delighting audiences again with this delicious treat of a feel-good musical, that was such a celebrated hit when it premiered at The Grand in 2017. We are now working to find a way to bring the show back to its ‘home’ venue and sell-out audiences, at a time and in circumstances, that will allow Fat Friends to return, bigger and better than ever!

If you are happy to wait until alternative dates are found, you do not need to do anything; we will be in touch as soon as we have any information and will automatically transfer your tickets and email them to you with the revised details*. However, if you would prefer a refund now, please fill out this form**.

As you can appreciate, this is an extremely busy time for our team whilst we try to resolve the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible, so we kindly ask that you refrain from contacting us unless necessary.

**Refunds are taking longer to process due to the amount of people we must contact – please bear with us. Booking fees are non-refundable as stated in our T&Cs. Currently, they are being used to support the huge administration costs incurred by the pandemic, including refunding and rescheduling shows, and to also help maintain our three heritage buildings. Refunds will be issued first, credit vouchers later. Please note, it can also take up to 10 working days for your bank to process the refund.
