Max Bower: Hans the Dishwasher

Max trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on the BA course in Actor Musicianship. Since graduating in 2023, Max has worked as an actor and as a musician on a range of projects. Credits include: The Joker – The Choir of Man (NCL), Asahi bench boost (Commercial), Axeman – Jack and the Beanstalk: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto (City Varieties Music Hall), Q – The Three Little Pigs (UK Tour).

Max has been playing guitar for 18 years, picking up other instruments along the way and has gigged across many venues in his hometown of Brighton. Max is also part of indie rock band Youth Sector (@youthsectorband) playing guitar and synth. The band have recently completed their headline UK tour off the back of releasing their debut album Pop Couture.

Having appeared in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto last year, Max is delighted to be returning to City Varieties to rock out once again this festive season.
