Dan Carter-Hope: The Emperor
Dan is delighted to be returning to Leeds City Varieties for the third time.
Theatre credits include: Operation Julie (Theatr na nÓg and Welsh Tours 2022 & 2024), Robin Hood: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto (Leeds City Varieties), Alice in Wonderland (Liverpool Playhouse/Theatre Royal Plymouth), Made in Dagenham (Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch), Our Blue Heaven (New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich), Eye of the Storm (Theatr na nÓg, Hong Kong), Never Lost At Home (New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich), Cinderella (Arts Depot, Finchley) and many rock and roll pantos at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
Dan was a Punk Scientist at the Science Museum in London for many years, touring Europe for the British Council and filming a kid’s science TV series for the Discovery Channel. He played the lead in the comedy horror short film The Furred Man, shown on Channel 4 which is now available on YouTube. He also appeared briefly as a Mariachi musician on EastEnders.
