Northern Ballet's Gentleman Jack: Over 55s Workshop
Taking place on stage, Northern Ballet’s workshops are suitable for those with dance experience or beginners with a secret desire to dance.
Take part in a gentle ballet warm-up before learning some steps from Gentleman Jack and getting creative. Whatever your age or ability, ex-Premier dancer Pippa Moore MBE* will guide you through the session, leaving you feeling fresh, inspired and empowered!
Following the workshop, participants will have the chance to join us for Northern Ballet Revealed. Get an insight into the life of a touring ballet company. Find out what it takes to bring a production to life as we reveal secrets from behind the scenes. Get a sneak peak of costumes and props and ask questions about the Company and our productions. You’ll then have the chance to watch the Company dancers in their daily ballet class as they warm up for the performance – a real treat!

Running Time: 9.15am – 10.45am (Northern Ballet Revealed at 11.15am – 12.45pm)
Age Guidance: Anyone aged 55 years or over. If you have any Access or mobility needs, please make Northern Ballet aware in advance of the workshop
Venue: On stage for the workshop at 9.15am. Northern Ballet Revealed talk in the Howard Grand Hall from 11.15am
Please note: We advise participants to wear loose, comfortable clothing they can move in and bring a bottle of water to the workshop.
