Set against the backdrop of Paris, with sparkling humour, gorge Givenchy outfits and Hepburn’s signature radiance, Funny Face is the epitome of Hollywood romance.
Inconspicuous bookshop clerk Jo (Audrey Hepburn) is swept into the glamourous fashion world when her workplace is turned into the backdrop for a photo shoot with esteemed photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) and her potential as the next big thing is realised.
Initially skeptical of the model life style deeming it shallow and silly, Jo soon changes her mind when a trip to Paris and the opportunity to meet her intellectual hero are thrown in the bargain. But whether it’s the grandeur of Paris or the custom couture gowns she’s dressed in, the photographer and the model soon find themselves falling in love.
