Finally, the news you’ve all been waiting for… our Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto is back for 2021!
Whilst we sadly had to skip 2020 due to COVID-19, we are pleased to announce that Beauty and the Beast has been given the Rock ‘n’ Roll treatment (from the enchanted pen of Peter Rowe) and will be rocking The Varieties stage over Christmas 2021.
You’ll be wowed by this breath-taking production which mixes traditional elements of audience participation and corny gags with a jukebox full of classic rock anthems and chart-toppers, all performed live on stage by our ultra-talented cast of actor-musicians. Be sure to keep your wits about you though, as there might be a surprise or two this year!
‘Dramatic panto warning’ – our Rock ’n’ Roll Panto‘s contain loud music, smoke effects, flashing lights and possibly a few squirts too, plus loud bangs from the explosive action on-stage (we did warn you about the corny gags!). From experience, we don’t recommend our panto for children under four-years-old, but if you do want to bring younger children, we recommend ear defenders, and you will be required to purchase a ticket for any child aged one upwards. Finally, and much to our regret, we must inform you, that if your child is causing a disturbance and disrupting the performance for others, you will be asked to remove them from the auditorium until able to return (refunds will not be given). Dramatic warning over – enjoy the show!

Running Time: Approx 2hrs 30-minute (inc a 20-minute interval)
Age Guidance: We do not recommend the pantomime for under 4s, but if you do want to bring younger children, we recommend ear defenders, and you will be required to purchase a ticket for any child aged 1+.
Subject to availability – Boxes to seat 2 may be purchased by calling 0113 243 0808.
Group bookings and concessions available. Please contact Box Office for full details.
Tickets for the relaxed performance on Thursday 6 January at 1.30pm may be purchased via Box Office only. This performance will have minor adaptations to ensure the auditorium environment is relaxed and more welcoming.
Prices include a £1 booking fee. Where applicable, a £1 charge for postage will also be payable.
Socially distanced performances: seats will be sold in pairs with two seats left empty in-between. This does mean that you won’t be sat directly next to members of your party if you’re in groups of more than two people. We ask that you do not move into the empty seats as this has a knock-on effect to the people in the next row.
