Vacancies - Creative Engagement Officer
Purpose of Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team at an exciting point in the development of the historic Hyde Park Picture House, which is part of the Leeds Heritage Theatres.
The Creative Engagement Officer will work to develop and deliver our National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) supported Activity Plan by working with a range of pre-existing and new community, creative and academic partners. This includes working with the Head of Cinema, the Young Audiences Officer, and other staff at the Picture House to arrange screenings, events and activities as well as engaging with and supporting people of all ages to become actively involved in the Picture House through volunteers and developing training opportunities.
You will be passionate about film in any form and eager to work with us to find ways of making the cinema more inclusive and welcoming.
You will be able to work well with others and comfortable with joining an organisation at a period of great change as the cinema undergoes its refurbishment work.

Salary and Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Responsible to: Head of Cinema
Salary: £22,188 pro-rata
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days pa plus bank holidays
