Simon Nock

Simon Nock – Dame Bessie Bigbreaths

Simon returns to the beautiful City Varieties for his quadruple outing as Dame, having previously shocked and astounded in Red Riding Hood, been more than gorgeous in a tight-fitting Catsuit in Dick Whittington and aroused the most reserved patron in Jack and the Beanstalk. He’s just finished scaring people out of their wits on a ghost tour around Carlisle Castle; one of the most haunted in England. Before that, he once again adorned the famous breeches of Henry VIII for a special Terrible Tudors at Hampton Court Palace; and, as needs must, was Ned the Neck in a 50’s online Murder Mystery, Murder at the Verona Lounge… very 2021!

Grace Lancaster – Beauty

Grace won the award for Best Leading Lady at the Great British Pantomime Awards 2020 and is delighted to be back at the wonderful City Varieties for a third year.

Conor Mellor

Conor Mellor – Beast

Conor is originally from York and spent years performing in many amateur dramatics shows in York and in the surrounding areas. He started his professional career in 2017 onboard a Marella Cruise Ship as a Vocalist and has been travelling the world performing since. This is Conor’s first Pantomime and he’s very excited to be back in Yorkshire making his debut!

Theatre credits include: Sea Hear (P&O Iona), Marella Celebration (Marella Discovery 2) and The Greatest Show. He has also sung with Post Modern Gents and performed as a soloist with Scott Alan and Friends, at The Hippodrome and The Wave Awards in 2019.

Lana Walker

Lana Walker – Fairy

Lana trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

James Pattison

James William-Pattison – Desperate Dan

Kenny Davies – Sir Peacock Beauregard

No stranger to the City Varieties, Kenny has appeared in all nine of the Rock ‘n’ Roll pantomimes here to date and is happy to be returning for the Tenth!

Hannah trained at Guildford School of Acting.

During training, Alice appeared in: Into the Woods (Ivy Arts Centre); Company (Ivy Studio); 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Ivy Studio); Our House (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre); Richard III and Pandora (both for Guildford School of Acting).

Film work includes: Memory Sketch (Huaxin Yu).

Tim Roberts

 Tim Roberts – Preen

Tim trained at the University of Central Lancashire and then at the Royal Welsh College of Music.

Theatre credits include: No Limits, pantomimes Dick Whittington and Babes in the Wood and most recently he has worked as a lead vocalist on AIDA cruises. During training, Tim appeared in: Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweeney Todd, Guys and Dolls and even dedicated a concert to Dame ‪Shirley Bassey.

Tim is extremely excited about this show as it’s combining two of his passions; live music and acting, and hopes this excitement is passed on to the audience.
