Join Our Team - Technician
Purpose of Job
You’ll work as part of our Technical team supporting work on stage, and throughout our heritage buildings. You will assist with get-ins, fit-ups, get-outs and, on occasion, running shows.
We are looking to appoint experienced Technicians to maintain a smooth running, efficient and safe working environment for all colleagues and visiting Companies. You will assist on building maintenance including future works and strive to offer the best possible service and a positive working culture for all users of our venues.
About You
You will have experience of working in a receiving house and a good all-round knowledge of technical theatre, proven expertise of fit-ups, rehearsals, shows, get-ins and get-outs. You will have a broad understanding of all aspects of theatre, including stage, LX, flying and sound. You will know how to work safely and efficiently and work well as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent. Locally agreed full time buy out.
Responsible to: Heads, Technical Manager, Property Manager.
Salary: £27,248 per annum
Holiday entitlement: 20 days, rising after two years’ experience

Probation Period: Six months
